Description

  • Consult on data projects of intermediate complexity to understand design requirements and existing business processes.
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of data products.
  • Practice code management and integration in line with architectural and data governance guidelines.
  • Produce data building blocks, data models, and data flows for reporting, feeds, dashboards, and data science exploration.
  • Create business user access methods to structured and unstructured data.
  • Translate business data stories into technical work breakdown structures and schedule estimates.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines for streaming and batch requirements.
  • Build new API integrations to support growing data volume and complexity.
  • Prepare and cleanse data to support downstream reporting and AI/ML tools.
  • Develop data project plans and execute mid-size projects and large tasks with supervision.

Requirements

  • Experience consulting on intermediate-complexity data projects with limited coaching and guidance.
  • Experience designing and implementing data products.
  • Knowledge of code management and integration practices aligned with architectural standards and data governance guidelines.
  • Experience building data models, data flows, and scalable data pipelines for streaming and batch processing.
  • Experience creating access methods for structured and unstructured data.
  • Knowledge of mapping data to common data models, natural language processing, AI, statistical computations, and data validation.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical stories, estimates, and agile sprint plans.
  • Knowledge of data governance concepts.
  • Ability to execute mid-size projects and large tasks within timelines.
  • Ability to work with reduced oversight and increasing project complexity; experience with support for reporting, dashboards, or AI/ML tools is preferred.
