Description

  • Co-own and maintain Segment tracking plans with application product managers to align data capture with business needs.
  • Consult on intermediate-complexity data projects and draft documentation for data collection requirements.
  • Build and maintain Mixpanel reports and dashboards to track user behavior and key performance indicators.
  • Validate data assumptions and ensure tracking plans are aligned across applications to support a single version of the truth.
  • Consult with application development teams to ensure data is captured and sent according to the enterprise data catalogue.
  • Translate business user stories into technical requirements and create detailed documentation and business plans.
  • Liaise between IT and Product Management on data solutions and cross-functional analytics requirements.
  • Develop basic analytics solutions and support data integration strategies using data marts and data warehouse applications.
  • Improve data platforms, dashboards, and reports to meet changing business demands and guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot data issues, transmit data, and help ensure data quality and compliance with standards.

Requirements

  • Intermediate SQL skills are required.
  • Basic Python experience is required.
  • Intermediate experience in data analytics is required.
  • Intermediate experience in project management is required.
  • Intermediate experience in data visualization is required.
  • Entry-level experience with analytics tools such as Twilio Segment, RudderStack, Tealium, or mParticle is required.
  • Entry-level experience with Mixpanel, Power BI, or Tableau is required.
  • Entry-level experience with Google Analytics, Amplitude, or LogRocket is required.
  • Strong communication skills are required to serve as the point of contact between stakeholders and the team.
  • Experience working with financial-services data elements, reporting, and cloud-based data storage/sharing is preferred.
  • Experience consulting on UAT, technical specifications, strategic planning, contract design, testing updates, and trainings is preferred.
