Description

  • Support the business unit’s online quote and bind platform.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy system functionality.
  • Provide technical feasibility assessments and follow coding standards.
  • Ensure code and component quality and maintainability for future changes.
  • Perform impact assessments across people, process, and technology.
  • Estimate user stories using relative sizing and story points.
  • Support implementation, troubleshooting, and user training activities.
  • Partner with the Product Owner to validate code and acceptance tests.
  • Use TDD and BDD to build quality into the software.
  • Participate in PI Planning, Sprint Planning, demos, retrospectives, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Full English fluency.
  • Full-stack development experience with Java/J2EE and front-end technologies including Angular, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate is desirable.
  • Proficiency with Angular concepts and libraries such as State Management, Redux, RxJS, NgRx, and Angular Material.
  • SQL experience with 2–3 years of experience is required.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment with PI Planning and Sprint Planning.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Ability to identify and raise issues and risks in functional design.
