Description

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of all financial transactions and financial statements.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, year-end statements, and operating metrics.
  • Perform account reconciliations, including monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable, debt payments, and other recurring accounting obligations on time.
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, controls, and a digital filing system.
  • Monitor accounting operations across subsidiary entities and multiple legal entities.
  • Manage annual budget and forecasts, including variance analysis and reporting significant issues.
  • Report and file state sales and use tax.
  • Coordinate the preparation and compilation of year-end reporting and financial statements.
  • Support process improvement, collaboration, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance, or equivalent business experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in bookkeeping.
  • Experience working with multiple legal entities under a legal umbrella.
  • Experience with financial reporting requirements.
  • Experience with full-cycle accounting close.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, accounting, and corporate finance.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, or other accounting software.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Adobe, Windows, DocuSign, and Google Suite.
  • Working knowledge of taxation and corporate structures.
  • Banking domain experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work the shift timing of 2 PM–11 PM or 12:30 PM–9:30 PM.
