Description

  • Lead the S&T market across the Seattle and Portland offices and develop high-performance, diverse teams.
  • Create and implement the Market Business Plan in partnership with office and market leadership.
  • Develop new business opportunities with new and existing client partners to drive market growth and top-line revenue.
  • Lead client relationships on billable project work and help deliver innovative solutions that support future opportunities.
  • Represent the market internally and externally through speaking, writing, and brand-building activities.
  • Work with client leaders and firm resources to pursue target clients and strengthen existing relationships.
  • Advance market differentiation by promoting the firm’s integrated design services and Living-Centered Design approach.
  • Collaborate with practice and business leaders to implement bottom-line initiatives and improve profitability.
  • Mentor, coach, assess, and recruit staff to build a high-performing, inclusive team and develop future leaders.
  • Identify market trends and opportunities and contribute to practice improvement efforts across the firm.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
  • Current registration/licensure in Architecture, Interior Design, or Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience with a proven track record in strategic growth, market leadership, team leadership, and business development in the S&T market.
  • Additional certifications and/or training relevant to the role preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills required.
  • Exceptional client and people leadership skills required.
  • Strong business acumen and proven ability to create and execute strategy required.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing, accountable teams.
  • Sound judgment and a strong approach to risk management and mitigation required.
  • Some travel required.
