Description

  • Work under a licensed Architect as a subject matter expert and lead planner on healthcare projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to provide technical expertise in programming and planning.
  • Lead user group meetings to gather, refine, and assess program and space needs.
  • Communicate planning concepts to owners, designers, and project teams through verbal, graphic, and written presentations.
  • Translate planning concepts into clear terms for clients, designers, and project team members.
  • Lead the development, modification, and review of planning concepts and solutions.
  • Assist in developing architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation for construction.
  • Assist in developing project scope, plans, and services during the contract process.
  • Incorporate integrated sustainable design solutions into projects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients and support marketing proposals when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience.
  • Prior experience serving as a subject matter expert on healthcare projects.
  • U.S. licensure or registration preferred.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients.
  • Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
  • Business acumen, critical thinking, and strong analytical ability.
  • Strong technical knowledge and coordination skills with the ability to build rapport with project teams and clients.
  • Familiarity with Revit, Microsoft Office, and Bluebeam.
  • Professional business attire required for client meetings.
  • Ability to travel.
