Description

  • Provide clinical case coverage for CVAC procedures as assigned across the territory, region, or nation.
  • Train surgical teams on safe and effective device use, instrument preparation, and case support.
  • Provide intra-operative clinical product support and verbally assist during training cases.
  • Maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Develop technical expertise to serve as an educational resource for physicians and staff.
  • Prepare, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment and kits for surgery, including quality control audits.
  • Manage inventory, reconcile usage and missing items, and ensure inventory matches shipping documents.
  • Support physician training, sales training programs, and education for APPs, office staff, hospital staff, and residents.
  • Partner with the Territory Sales Manager on account setup, clinical engagement, case support, and clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, on-label promotion rules, and healthcare professional interaction requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience in a clinical surgical support role such as Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN, BSN, or Laser Tech.
  • 1-3 years of industry experience for Clinical Specialist II candidates.
  • 3+ years of full-time medical device industry experience as a clinical specialist or comparable role for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Prior experience as a clinical specialist with a medical device company or with mobile lithotripsy provider companies is preferred for Clinical Specialist II.
  • Intra-operative coaching experience is required for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Experience training staff and support teams in the operating room is required for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Urology experience is preferred for Sr. Clinical Specialist candidates.
  • Experience in surgical technique and sterile procedures in the operating room is required.
  • Experience using fluoroscopy is a plus.
  • Degree or certification in a medical-related field such as LPN, RN, Surg Tech, or Rad Tech is highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel outside the designated territory and travel by car up to 90%.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and ability to complete employment eligibility verification upon hire.
  • Compliance with relevant county, state, and federal vaccination rules.

Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation of $100,000-$140,000 annually.
  • Base salary options of $80,000, $100,000, or $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
  • Annual variable bonus of $20,000.
  • Auto allowance of $9,600.
  • Cell phone and internet allowance of $1,800.
