Description

  • Provide clinical case coverage for CVAC procedures as assigned across the territory, region, or nationally when needed.
  • Train surgical teams on safe and effective device use, instrument preparation, and intraoperative support.
  • Assist physicians and medical staff with procedural training and clinical product support during cases.
  • Maintain current knowledge of perioperative surgical technology practices, hospital policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain, prepare, and quality-check equipment and kits for surgery.
  • Troubleshoot equipment according to standard procedures.
  • Manage account inventory, reconcile received and returned stock, and resolve missing inventory issues.
  • Support physician training, sales training, APP education, office staff education, and residency education programs.
  • Collaborate with the commercial team and Clinical Specialist peers to review cases and share knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and healthcare professional interaction rules.

Requirements

  • Clinical experience such as Scrub Tech, X-Ray Tech, RN, BSN, or Laser Tech.
  • For Clinical Specialist II: 1-3 years of industry experience.
  • For Clinical Specialist II: prior experience as a Clinical Specialist for a medical device company or with Mobile Litho Provider Companies.
  • For Sr. Clinical Specialist: 3+ years of full-time clinical specialist experience with a medical device company focused on case coverage and patient outcomes.
  • For Sr. Clinical Specialist: intraoperative coaching experience and fluency in staff and support training.
  • Experience in surgical technique and sterile procedures in the operating room.
  • Experience utilizing fluoroscopy is a plus.
  • Degree or certification in a medical-related field such as LPN, RN, Surg Tech, or Rad Tech is highly desirable.
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively, including travel outside the designated territory and up to 90% by car.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and compliance with vaccination-related county, state, and federal rules.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Urology experience is preferred.

Benefits

  • Total compensation of $100,000-$140,000 annually, including base salary and annual variable bonus.
  • Base salary of $80,000, $100,000, or $120,000 per year depending on experience.
  • Annual variable bonus of $20,000.
  • Auto allowance of $9,600.
  • Cell phone/internet allowance of $1,800.
  • Stock options with ownership in the company.
  • Employee benefits package including 401(k), healthcare insurance, and paid vacation.
