Description

  • Translate organizational goals into scalable operating models, processes, and performance measures.
  • Build and oversee an integrated enterprise operating framework across people, processes, systems, and data.
  • Advise the CEO and Executive Team on operational readiness, risk, and execution.
  • Lead the recommendation, implementation, and adoption of a new ERP system aligned with finance, people resources, procurement, grants, initiatives, and project operations.
  • Optimize Salesforce as a core enterprise system for business development, partnerships, programs, and reporting.
  • Design, document, roll out, and continuously improve enterprise-wide standard operating procedures.
  • Establish process ownership and governance models to maintain SOPs and enforce standards across the organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders in finance, HR, IT, programs, legal, marketing, and business development to align operational practices.
  • Define and monitor operational KPIs, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure to drive accountability and data-informed decisions.
  • Build and mentor operational teams while leading change management for system and process improvements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business transformation, or enterprise management.
  • Experience in a COO, Deputy COO, or equivalent role strongly preferred.
  • Proven success building SOPs, operating models, and governance structures in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong understanding of finance, people operations, technology, and compliance within a mission-driven or nonprofit environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into execution and align diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in cross-functional leadership roles across multiple parts of a large organization.
  • Strong people skills and supervisory experience.
  • Systems thinking with attention to detail and scalability.
  • Strong change leadership skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Data-driven, results-oriented, and operationally rigorous mindset.
