Description

  • Take customer phone calls and gather the information needed to create new tickets or update existing ones.
  • Monitor email and the ticket board for new or updated information and notify the appropriate parties.
  • Perform Tier 1 support tasks, including voicemail password resets, extension name changes, and simple programming changes.
  • Troubleshoot basic issues for down systems or sites that are unable to call in or out.
  • Provide basic hardware troubleshooting with on-site customer technicians.
  • Deliver remote desktop support when needed using a laptop.
  • Work independently to identify, fix, and resolve issues on Mitel on-prem products.
  • Contact the Mitel vendor for assistance when necessary.

Requirements

  • Experience with Mitel SX-200 ICP, Mitel MiVoice Business (3300), and Mitel MiVoice Office (400) is required.
  • Ability to fully troubleshoot on-prem Mitel phone systems and remediate issues without additional help.
  • PhoneSuite Voiceware experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong understanding of on-prem Mitel products.
  • Capability to support customers and on-site technicians with basic troubleshooting and issue resolution.
