Description

  • Monitor course development and update projects, prioritize work, and follow up with content creators to meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with the Canvas Team on course shell creation for new and updated courses.
  • Develop course scheduling strategies and communicate timeline risks and recommendations to academic leadership.
  • Maintain curriculum documentation, procedures, course records, and compliance standards.
  • Review course materials for quality, instructional time, student engagement, citation, licensing, fair use, and copyright compliance.
  • Improve content creation and course update workflows and documentation.
  • Maintain tracking systems for curriculum projects and Canvas course builds, providing accurate status updates to academic stakeholders.
  • Assist with accreditation compliance related to instruction and educational quality.
  • Collaborate with faculty, academic departments, administrators, and colleagues to support institutional goals and student success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in higher education, curriculum management, accreditation compliance, education administration, academic operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience with course development projects or higher education content updates preferred.
  • Familiarity with course scheduling, academic calendar planning, instructional design, and current higher education practices preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Teams, and familiarity with learning management systems such as Canvas.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, work independently, exercise judgment, and adapt to change.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and comply with institutional policies, academic integrity requirements, and regulations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to an inclusive, respectful, student-focused culture.
  • Must reside and work remotely in California, New Mexico, Florida, or Massachusetts; occasional evening or weekend work may be required.

Benefits

  • Full-time, exempt remote position.
  • Pay range of $72,384 annually.
  • Work schedule is Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
