Description

  • Design, build, and operate services and APIs for contacts, companies, third-party data syncing, deduplication, enrichment, and search.
  • Partner with Product and Design to define requirements, sequence milestones, and deliver incremental value.
  • Contribute to data models and storage strategies for people-related data with an emphasis on consistency, privacy, and scalability.
  • Improve platform resilience through observability, fault tolerance, and production readiness.
  • Participate in on-call support for critical business services.
  • Collaborate with adjacent teams to evolve architecture and shared components.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to peers.
  • Design, build, and maintain internal tools, integrations, and in-product features for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
  • Own projects end to end from discovery and system design through implementation, testing, deployment, and iteration.
  • Continuously improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and internal user experience.

Requirements

  • 7-10+ years of professional software development experience, including ownership of production services at scale in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong backend development experience building services, APIs, and data-intensive workflows.
  • Experience designing for scalability, reliability, and observability in cloud environments, with GCP preferred.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures and modernizing or decomposing legacy systems into services.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and data modeling for complex domains, with PostgreSQL preferred.
  • Bias for clean, maintainable code, thoughtful testing, and incremental delivery.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Frontend experience with React and TypeScript, or a strong interest in partnering on UI contracts and end-to-end delivery, is preferred.
  • Experience with microfrontends, Node services, Rails ecosystems, and event-driven architectures is a plus.
  • Availability to participate in an on-call rotation for critical services.
  • Authorization to work legally in the United States, as sponsorship is not available.

  • Annual base salary range of $187,000 to $271,920 USD, depending on location and other factors.
