Description

  • Prepare and review GST calculations, including pre-registration input tax claims.
  • File GST returns and GST registration or de-registration applications.
  • Liaise with IRAS and respond to GST-related queries.
  • Handle ad-hoc GST advisory engagements.
  • Prepare and review corporate tax computations and file corporate tax returns.
  • Liaise with IRAS and respond to corporate tax queries.
  • Handle ad-hoc corporate tax advisory engagements.
  • Support bookkeeping and accounts preparation work when needed.
  • Contribute to related tax areas such as withholding tax and transfer pricing, where applicable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification such as ACCA.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Singapore GST and/or corporate tax.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Bilingual ability in English and Chinese or Malay is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets, Google Docs, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Dext, or Talenox is preferred but not required.
  • Able to work independently under tight deadlines with an analytical mindset.
  • Meticulous with strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to function as a team player.
  • Must be able to demonstrate attention to detail by using the word 'simple' in the application.
