Description

  • Own an assigned territory and drive net-new business acquisition across the core market segment.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through daily demo meetings and ongoing prospect outreach.
  • Develop trusted relationships with transportation directors, school leaders, decision makers, and champions.
  • Use a hub-and-spoke outreach strategy focused on trust, community, and meaningful engagement.
  • Partner closely with BDR, Marketing, Sales, and Events teams to support go-to-market efforts.
  • Represent BusRight at in-person events, including state conferences, regional chapter meetings, and on-site events.
  • Accurately forecast results and manage territory performance against revenue targets and activity metrics.
  • Execute and refine sales processes while contributing ideas that shape sales culture and strategy.
  • Communicate BusRight’s value in consultative sales conversations and handle objections confidently.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of new business technology sales experience with a successful track record of closing net-new logos and managing forecasts.
  • K-12 industry and/or enterprise sales experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience owning a territory end to end, using CRM, mapping, and outreach tools to guide account strategy and growth planning.
  • Strong engagement and qualification skills with a consultative, value-based sales approach.
  • Ability to lead personalized, structured sales conversations and demos while handling objections confidently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the technical aptitude to learn and use sales tools.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working with extreme autonomy in a remote environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a growth-oriented startup environment and go above and beyond to support quota and team success.
  • Must reside in the Illinois or Indiana territory.
  • Must maintain a remote, on-camera professional workplace environment.
  • Must be willing to travel within the territory for events and state conferences.
