Description

  • Assist in drafting and preparing legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain case files so documents are accurately filed and easily accessible.
  • Support discovery by gathering and summarizing evidence, organizing responses, and creating discovery binders.
  • Maintain and monitor case calendars to track deadlines, appointments, and hearings.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and provide case progress updates as needed.
  • Assist in trial preparation by creating exhibits and organizing trial binders.
  • Conduct basic legal research as instructed and summarize findings for attorneys.
  • Work closely with attorneys and paralegals to help ensure efficient litigation operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience working in a U.S. legal environment is required.
  • Experience in personal injury law is preferred.
  • Experience in employment law is considered a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with legal research databases is preferred.
  • Collaborative attitude and willingness to support team members in a fast-paced environment.
