Description

  • Own campaign execution across priority pillars from concept through asset planning, launch, and iteration.
  • Build programs that serve both developers and buyers by balancing credibility, clarity, and conversion.
  • Create a repeatable cadence that aligns the Labs team across Brand Systems, Dev Voice, and GTM.
  • Build reference implementations that demonstrate what Buildkite enables and how it differs.
  • Create hands-on, reproducible demo environments that make evaluation credible.
  • Treat public technical artifacts as maintained products by versioning, documenting, testing, and refreshing them.
  • Translate strategic pillars into a backlog of proof assets and identify gaps in existing proof.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure technical proof accurately reflects reality.
  • Build assets mapped to customer journey stages and create time-to-first-value accelerators.
  • Package technical proof so it can be reused and distributed through GTM, Sales, and Support.
  • Define success signals for assets and use feedback from support, sales, and community inputs to improve them.
  • Operate proof, signal, adoption, quality, distribution, and coherence loops to continuously improve the content system.

Requirements

  • Strong engineering background with experience shipping and operating real systems.
  • Comfort working in CI/CD and dev workflows.
  • Ability to build production-grade examples that others can run.
  • Strong technical writing and teaching ability.
  • Great judgment to distinguish true proof from marketing content.
  • Systems thinking with the ability to turn complex reality into reusable assets and paths.
  • Cross-functional fluency and the ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, Sales, DevRel, and Support.
  • Clear async communication, including documenting decisions, tradeoffs, and learnings.
  • High agency with ownership of outcomes end-to-end and the ability to ship continuously.
  • Experience building CI platforms, features, plugins, SDKs, or devtools preferred.
  • Open source track record, such as repos, libraries, plugins, templates, or credible technical writing preferred.
  • Experience facilitating event demos or workshops and turning builds into live moments preferred.
  • Experience building evaluation sandbox environments preferred.
  • Comfort with lightweight automation to connect systems preferred.
