Description

  • Partner with Sales to identify business opportunities aligned with Buildkite’s platform.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their CI/CD architecture and workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes.
  • Design and deliver engaging product demonstrations.
  • Lead prospects through technical proofs of concept to secure technical wins.
  • Advise customers on migrating from existing solutions to Buildkite’s platform, including its dynamic pipeline approach.
  • Act as a technical liaison between customers and Product Engineering and share tactical and strategic feedback to shape the product and platform.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in CI/CD and software delivery.
  • Use storytelling to communicate value and guide customers through technical validation.
  • Educate the Sales team to strengthen product knowledge and market positioning.
  • Represent Buildkite at industry events and conferences to build awareness and engage with developer and operations communities.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Buildkite, Jenkins, CircleCI, AWS CodePipelines, Azure Pipelines, or GitLab.
  • Experience with DevOps technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify customer needs and design tailored solutions.
  • A curious and consultative approach with confidence in focusing on the most important issues.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills across Sales, Product, and Solutions teams.
  • Passion for learning new build technologies such as Bazel, Kubernetes, and iOS development tools.
  • Experience closing sales deals using consultative technical expertise is preferred.
