Description

  • Lead field support efforts at Specialty and Big Box retail accounts.
  • Support product launches, in-store merchandising, and grassroots programs with Sales and Marketing.
  • Collaborate on national account sell-through programs and meet assigned store-base goals.
  • Educate retail associates, runners, and affiliates through product clinics, visits, and events.
  • Represent Brooks at running events and expos, including setup, consumer engagement, and product trials.
  • Submit weekly field notes covering visits, clinics, events, product feedback, and competitor insights.
  • Create product videos for digital education platforms and social media as needed.
  • Manage product-seeding and corporate-card budgets and submit monthly expense reports.
  • Maintain the leased company vehicle and Brooks equipment.

Requirements

  • Live within 25 miles of the assigned North or South Chicago territory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or Retail Management, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of marketing, sales, or retail experience; 2+ years preferred.
  • Outdoor, sports, or athletic industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of performance athletic footwear, sports bras, apparel, accessories, and related technologies.
  • Knowledge of human-motion biomechanics and injury-prevention basics preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of retail math, inventory management, merchandising, and retail selling.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively while managing calendars, contacts, and budgets.
  • Understanding of running and ability to build authentic relationships with runners and retail communities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work weekends or extended hours as needed.

  • Base salary of $51,966–$72,752, with commission potential.
