Description

  • Meet or exceed sales goals in an assigned territory by developing and executing an integrated territory business plan.
  • Demonstrate scientific and clinical expertise for Acoramidis and use approved materials in customer conversations.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and potential territory concerns.
  • Own territory planning and execution for key company initiatives.
  • Partner compliantly with Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with targeted KOLs, physicians, medical staff, hospital personnel, and multidisciplinary center staff.
  • Navigate the hospital formulary process and implement strategies to support product positioning and availability.
  • Anticipate business challenges, adjust priorities, and develop solutions as needed.
  • Maintain strong selling skills, product knowledge, and understanding of the territory’s business environment.
  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies, state and federal regulations, and pharma guidelines.

Requirements

  • BS/BA required; MBA preferred but not required.
  • 8+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in Rare Disease, Cardiology, Specialty, or ATTR.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
  • Proven product or indication launch experience in highly competitive markets.
  • Strong leadership, planning, organization, analytics, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on a plan.
  • Ability to influence without authority, both internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to use remote technology effectively to engage customers.
  • Significant travel required.
  • Puerto Rico-based position covering all of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience with field-based selling or similar commercial roles is implied by the responsibilities.
