Description

  • Meet or exceed sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing integrated account plans with specific tactics and action steps.
  • Demonstrate subject-matter expertise and communicate scientific and clinical information for BBP-418 to customers using approved materials.
  • Develop and implement dynamic account and territory business plans based on analysis of the business, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
  • Engage customers in clinically relevant discussions and build, nurture, and maintain professional relationships with targeted KOLs, physicians, medical staff, and multi-disciplinary center personnel.
  • Compliantly partner with cross-functional teams (Medical Science Liaisons, Field Reimbursement, Patient Access, HUB) to develop strategies that ensure product positioning, availability, and high customer satisfaction.
  • Navigate account EMR processes and implement strategies to secure successful product positioning and access within hospital/clinic systems.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities or areas of concern and adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Plan and organize schedules to maximize efficiency, complete tasks assigned by Sales Leadership, and ensure corporate objectives and initiatives are achieved.
  • Maintain high proficiency in selling skills, clinical/product/market knowledge, and ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, company policies, and pharma guidelines.
  • Anticipate potential business challenges, demonstrate flexibility, adjust priorities as needed, and develop solutions to address challenges.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of successful experience in the pharmaceutical industry (5+ years in Rare Disease/Neurology markets preferred).
  • BS/BA required; MBA preferred but not required.
  • Track record of product and/or indication launch experience into competitive markets.
  • Strong leadership, planning and organization, analytics, business acumen, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute on territory plans and meet sales targets.
  • Proven leadership with a high level of accountability and the ability to influence without formal authority.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong remote-technology skills for customer engagement.
  • Adherence to high ethical standards and compliance with company policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Significant travel is required for this field-based role.
  • Demonstrated clinical acumen, learning agility, resilience, customer focus, and ability to build trusting relationships with healthcare customers (preferred).
