Description

  • Partner with Medical Affairs leadership to define field medical strategy, HCP engagement plans, and coverage approaches within corporate and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop and implement field effectiveness frameworks, including KPIs, activity metrics, and qualitative impact measures.
  • Support field medical launch readiness through territory design, targeting, and resource planning.
  • Coordinate conference strategy, coverage, attendance, and reporting for global, national, and regional meetings.
  • Maintain therapeutic area expertise by reviewing scientific literature and attending key scientific and technical meetings.
  • Manage core operational systems such as CRM platforms, insights tools, and reporting dashboards.
  • Establish scalable processes for field planning, interaction reporting, and compliance.
  • Design and operationalize insights generation, reporting, and dissemination processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Clinical, Commercial, and HEOR teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Support medical training, capability development, and onboarding for field medical team members and cross-functional partners.

Requirements

  • PharmD, PhD, MD, or other advanced healthcare degree, or relevant experience.
  • 5+ years of medical affairs or field medical excellence experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in rare diseases and/or skeletal dysplasia preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and networking skills.
  • Ability to engage in scientific dialogue with KOLs and researchers.
  • Strong teaching skills and ability to present scientific material clearly and concisely.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with industry leaders.
  • Experience in clinical research and understanding of pharmaceutical product development and approval.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively with minimal supervision in a changing environment.
  • Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time, including overnight and weekend travel, with occasional international travel.
  • Must reside in the United States.
