Description

  • Serve as a thought partner and advisor to the CTO and Engineering Managers on long-term organizational design and health.
  • Translate business and technical strategy into people and organizational implications, identifying risks and opportunities proactively.
  • Coach leaders on building high-performing teams through hiring profiles, succession planning, and internal mobility.
  • Lead organizational design efforts, including structure definition, communication planning, and rollout execution.
  • Drive clarity around roles, scope, and leveling across Engineering.
  • Act as a connector across functions to drive alignment and execution at scale.
  • Partner with Compensation, Talent Management, and other teams to scope and drive people programs for Engineering.
  • Champion AI-powered approaches to improve people processes and HR workflows.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in People Business Partnering or related functions, with significant experience supporting Engineering or technical organizations.
  • Experience partnering with C-level or senior executives, such as a CTO or VP of Engineering.
  • Proven ability to lead organizational design and transformation efforts in high-growth or complex environments.
  • Strong track record of influencing senior leaders and driving change in ambiguous, high-stakes situations.
  • Deep understanding of engineering organization design, talent, leadership, and scaling challenges.
  • Exceptional judgment and business acumen with the ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes.
  • Clear and concise communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Active interest in and experimentation with AI tools in HR contexts, including identifying ways AI can improve people processes.
  • Experience supporting rapidly scaling fintech or product-led organizations (bonus point).
  • Familiarity with technical org design challenges, including platform vs. product teams, infra scaling, and global engineering footprints (bonus point).
  • Experience through major company inflection points such as hypergrowth, restructuring, M&A, or a public company transition (bonus point).
  • Track record of deploying AI or automation in people workflows at scale (bonus point).
