Description

  • Own end-to-end delivery of CGI projects and ensure high-quality output that exceeds expectations.
  • Set creative and technical direction for CGI content, including sequence setup, lighting, rendering, and final delivery.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of 3D artists and CG team leads.
  • Collaborate with producers and team leads to align on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Allocate team resources across multiple projects to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
  • Oversee asset readiness, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure alignment with current CGI techniques and best practices.
  • Drive innovation by exploring, proposing, and implementing new tools, workflows, and AI-enhanced production methods.
  • Act as a client-facing representative, presenting ideas, discussing progress, and managing client vision and expectations.
  • Maintain visual consistency and brand fidelity across all projects.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing and AI-upskilling sessions to strengthen team capability and adoption.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in CGI/3D, including 3-5 years of team management experience.
  • Proven expertise in CGI workflows, including data prep, lighting, compositing, texturing, and animation for stills and motion.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Cinema4D with Octane and 3Ds Max with V-Ray.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine, Maya, Blender, or Redshift is a bonus.
  • Strong showreel demonstrating CGI work, including product visualization and animation.
  • A relevant degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in CGI, animation, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage resources, and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Strong creative and technical vision with the ability to set and communicate benchmarks.
  • Experience leading global campaigns and digital content for FMCG, luxury, premium global brands, or technology sectors is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.
  • Experience with Adobe Substance Painter and Substance Designer is required.
  • Unreal Engine or other real-time rendering tools are desirable.
  • Willingness to complete ongoing structured AI training, use approved AI tools such as Pencil, and stay current with AI trends.
