Description

  • Plan and execute multiple client audit engagements throughout the year.
  • Supervise associate-level professionals and delegate engagement responsibilities.
  • Communicate audit issues and help resolve them with support from the engagement manager.
  • Develop and execute audit strategy from planning through reporting.
  • Build and maintain client relationships to support client satisfaction.
  • Research and apply complex accounting concepts, auditing procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Prepare financial statements and draft audit findings in written and verbal form.
  • Train, coach, and mentor associates through feedback, guidance, and team support.
  • Manage complex engagements involving multi-jurisdictional financial reporting, U.S. tax law, and international business practices.
  • Advise clients on U.S. regulatory changes, risk management, and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Licensed CPA or actively in the process of obtaining CPA credentials.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of public accounting experience across industries such as Technology, Life Sciences, Consumer Products, Financial Services, or Non-Profits.
  • SEC experience preferred.
  • Experience auditing complex accounts such as inventory, revenue, and equity/stock options.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong desire to continuously learn.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize information to make appropriate recommendations.
  • U.S. accounting credentials may be required.

  • $94,000 - $115,000 annual salary for candidates in Ontario, Canada who meet the position requirements.
