Description

  • Manage and support delivery of the product backlog in collaboration with scrum teams and related product teams aligned to the Integrated Transparency and Provider Finder roadmap.
  • Lead sprint planning, support sprint execution, and coordinate backlog refinement activities.
  • Write user stories and acceptance criteria, create user journeys, and organize team documentation to implement technical aspects of business solutions.
  • Facilitate business communications about product vision, priorities, delivery progress, and outcomes with client and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate implementation activities across functions and departments and support alignment across dependent teams to meet timelines and objectives.
  • Track, organize, and document project strategy and requirements gathering sessions and drive projects forward to delivery.
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog for complex projects and independently write technical tasks with minimal architect engagement.
  • Identify cross-functional dependencies, mitigate risks, and define interim milestones and project goals to keep large, complex projects on track.
  • Actively drive the product roadmap and define project vision for large and complex initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor other Product team members and build strong relationships with client and internal team members to deliver success.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of product management experience in a strategic capacity, preferably in eCommerce, marketing, or consulting.
  • Familiarity with requirements and tracking tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with multiple SDLCs (Agile, Scrum, waterfall) and iterative delivery practices.
  • Exposure to platforms such as Adobe, Drupal, Magento, and/or Shopify (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple teams and projects simultaneously and to work independently with initiative.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of information security and data protection considerations, including assessing security risks and understanding data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Digital-savvy, resourceful, comfortable challenging assumptions, and able to define and communicate interim milestones and project goals.
