Description

  • Lead and coordinate major incident response, including triage, resolution, documentation, and post-incident reviews.
  • Serve as the primary Incident Commander during critical outages and manage communication with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Lead problem management, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Manage SLA tracking and service availability reporting for application outages.
  • Produce monthly service management risk reports and maintain reporting aligned with business expectations.
  • Maintain audit-ready process documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and control frameworks.
  • Support internal and external audits, including SOC Type 1 and Type 2 audits, by providing evidence and walkthroughs.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Risk, and Compliance to close audit findings and remediation actions.
  • Run release washups, participate in CAB meetings, and support safe deployment governance.
  • Drive automation, disaster recovery testing, business continuity planning, and CMDB/service management improvements.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in Incident Management, Problem Management, and IT Operations in fintech, banking, or trading environments.
  • Proven experience as a Major Incident Manager or Incident Commander handling real-time high-severity events.
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Configuration Management.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, JSM, HPSM, and CMDB.
  • Experience with reporting and analytics for availability, SLA compliance, and RCA trends.
  • Experience supporting audits, documenting processes, and working with internal and external auditors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead under pressure.
  • Good understanding of high-level software and infrastructure architecture.
  • Knowledge of trading systems, order management platforms, or exchanges is preferred.
  • ITIL v3/v4 certification or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience in global 24x7 financial services environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SOC audit frameworks and regulatory compliance in financial services is preferred.
  • Experience running Splunk queries and basic troubleshooting is preferred.
  • Willingness to work night shifts is preferred.
