Description

Design and build automated test suites for APIs and backend services, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Design and build browser automation tests for frontend client applications.
Work with engineers to define test strategy and acceptance criteria before features ship.
Propose and drive adoption of new testing practices and tooling.
Improve test coverage and reduce manual QA effort through CI/CD improvements.
Collaborate closely with developers to identify edge cases and failure modes early in the development cycle.
Generate test plans based on ticket acceptance criteria.
Verify successful production releases.

Requirements

Experience writing automated tests for both backend services and frontend web applications.
Hands-on experience with a browser automation framework such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
Comfort reading and writing code for Node/JS/TS applications.
Strong debugging and root-cause investigation skills.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Willingness to use AI tooling.
Experience using AI tools for test generation, code review, or debugging workflows is preferred.
Security testing exposure is preferred.
Experience with test case management software such as Testmo or TestRail is preferred.
