Description

  • Greet pet parents and their pets and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience.
  • Manage the daily appointment and walk-in schedule.
  • Take and make calls and communicate with other veterinary practices and clients by email as needed.
  • Keep common areas clean and well stocked.
  • Provide hospitality, answer questions, and share information and education with pet parents.
  • Support clients and pets throughout their visit as the first and last touchpoint.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by team leaders.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service, hospitality, or a client-facing receptionist role.
  • Experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
  • Prior experience in veterinary practices or animal care is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask accurately and efficiently.
  • Comfort typing and using multiple computer systems.
  • Independent, unrestricted valid authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • Availability for a part-time schedule of less than 30 hours, including Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
