Description

  • Scribe for veterinarians during patient visits.
  • Support medical team members with surgeries, x-rays, treatments, and other procedures.
  • Handle and restrain pets compassionately for exams.
  • Record and report patient symptoms and visit details.
  • Clean, restock, and maintain clinic common areas and exam rooms.
  • Communicate pricing estimates and treatment plans to clients.
  • Assist with client interactions, walk-ins, calls, scheduling, and education.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by team leaders.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience working as a veterinary assistant or kennel assistant.
  • Working knowledge of veterinary terminology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask with accuracy and efficiency.
  • High proficiency in typing and using multiple computer systems.
  • Ability to capture recommendations made during the course of a visit.
  • Passion for pets.
  • Independent, unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer.
  • No employment-based visa sponsorship and no F-1 STEM OPT facilitation for this role.
