Description

  • Own the technical design, implementation, and deployment of complex features and system components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and reliability.
  • Lead code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Break down high-level architectural vision into actionable implementation plans.
  • Balance system maintenance, migration costs, and operational impact when identifying tasks.
  • Align software and systems with the overall technical strategy and make tradeoffs with other engineers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, team planning, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor and support junior and mid-level team members while owning specific components or features.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience as a Python Engineer delivering production-ready features autonomously.
  • Strong experience with Python.
  • Experience working with large datasets and handling large files at scale.
  • Experience with asynchronous systems, batch processing, or event-triggered workflows is a plus.
  • Experience with web development frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Adaptability and openness to feedback and learning opportunities.
  • Ability to work effectively as a collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment.
