Description

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and systems.
  • Build and maintain systems for data ingestion, processing, quality control, and content delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve performance and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Review existing codebases and documentation and complete assigned tasks or bug fixes.
  • Take ownership of assigned features or components and manage work independently over time.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, team discussions, retrospectives, and sprint planning.
  • Collaborate with QA, Product Management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Experience with Python is required.
  • Experience with web development frameworks such as Django, FastAPI, or Flask is a strong plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Adaptability and openness to feedback and learning opportunities.
  • Collaborative team player who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; Catalan is highly appreciated and Spanish is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Based in Barcelona is preferred, with remote work arrangements considered; candidates based elsewhere in Spain or Italy are also acceptable.
