Description

  • Serve as the primary strategic contact for a portfolio of e-commerce clients across SEM channels.
  • Lead performance review calls, quarterly business reviews, and strategy sessions with clients.
  • Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable recommendations that support client decisions.
  • Own paid search strategy and execution across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Display, and YouTube.
  • Develop multi-channel budget allocation strategies that drive profitable growth.
  • Build and maintain testing frameworks to generate consistent learnings across accounts.
  • Monitor platform changes, algorithm shifts, and new ad formats, and turn those insights into strategy.
  • Own SEM performance reporting and use data to diagnose issues and scale effective campaigns.
  • Develop and refine attribution frameworks in collaboration with the analytics team.
  • Oversee SEM contractors and collaborate with paid social, accounts, and project management teams to ensure cross-channel alignment.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in paid search advertising, with Google Ads required.
  • 3–5 years of agency experience.
  • 3–5 years of e-commerce or D2C experience, either agency-side or in-house.
  • Proven track record managing direct client relationships.
  • Experience managing a small team or contractors.
  • Relevant Google Ads certifications.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and reporting platforms; Databox is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Ads is a strong differentiator.
  • Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics is a strong differentiator.
  • Comfort with attribution complexity such as blended ROAS and incrementality is a strong differentiator.
  • Experience with Asana, Slack, or similar project management and communication tools is a strong differentiator.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is a strong differentiator.
