Description

  • Translate written materials accurately, including new releases, marketing materials, support knowledge base articles, and other customer-facing content.
  • Maintain high quality and consistency in Greek-language localization deliverables.
  • Adapt to last-minute changes in source material and reprioritize work as needed.
  • Manage both short-term and long-term translation projects with strong organization and prioritization.
  • Collaborate closely within a highly team-driven localization environment.
  • Communicate effectively with teammates and stakeholders throughout the localization process.
  • Apply gaming context knowledge to ensure accurate translation of game-related content.
  • Work across multiple client and team needs while supporting ongoing localization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Native proficiency in Greek, both written and verbal, with exceptional grammar skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Bachelor of Arts degree or equivalent; emphasis in translation, localization, linguistics, or game design is a plus.
  • Relevant prior gaming experience for translating content accurately in a gaming context.
  • Professional translation or localization experience, with games and technical translation preferred.
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt well to quick turnaround times.
  • Experience using computer-assisted translation tools such as Crowdin, MemoQ, Memsource, SDL Trados, or Wordfast.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and SharePoint.
  • Passion for PC or console gaming is preferred.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware, software development, game design, game distribution platforms, game genres, and gaming hardware is preferred.
