Description

  • Manage project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, and multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage risk registers, project dependencies, and change-control processes.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban delivery teams.
  • Define milestone and gate-based acceptance criteria and provide client-facing status reports.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, risks, conflicts, and stakeholder concerns.
  • Maintain accountability for deliverables and adherence to project management best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience managing large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Experience delivering projects against fixed, immovable deadlines.
  • Experience managing scope, budgets, resourcing, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change control.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and tools such as Jira or Asana.
  • Strong stakeholder management and technical communication skills.
  • Ability to overlap U.S. business hours and work with nearshore U.S.–LATAM teams.
  • PMP, CSM, or PSM certification and experience with regulatory or compliance projects preferred.
