Description

  • Manage software development projects across scope, budget, resources, timelines, and concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage project risks, change-control processes, and mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone- and gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Provide client-facing status reporting and translate technical concepts for clients and executives.
  • Coordinate large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Own deliverables, resolve conflicts, and maintain team and client commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience delivering against fixed, immovable external deadlines.
  • Experience managing project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Experience with vendor coordination, formal risk registers, and change-control processes.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience with Jira, Asana, or similar project tracking tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to overlap with US business hours and work with distributed teams.
  • PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred; regulatory/compliance and US-LATAM delivery experience are also preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accountability, client focus, and adherence to best practices.
