Description

  • Manage scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies across concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Lead Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone and gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare client-facing status reports and translate technical information for clients and executives.
  • Run formal risk registers and change-control processes.
  • Identify, track, mitigate, and escalate project risks and dependencies.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and resolve project conflicts.
  • Own deliverables and ensure adherence to project management best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Experience delivering projects against fixed, immovable external deadlines.
  • Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience leading Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience with milestone-based acceptance criteria and client-facing reporting.
  • Proficiency with Jira, Asana, or similar project tracking tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects preferred.
  • Experience with nearshore US-LATAM delivery teams preferred.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, attention-to-detail, accountability, and client-service skills.
