Description

  • Manage multiple concurrent software development workstreams, including scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage formal risk registers, mitigation plans, and change-control processes.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone- and gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare client-facing status reports and translate technical concepts for clients and executives.
  • Identify and resolve project risks, dependencies, conflicts, and delivery issues.
  • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams and maintain accountability for deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Experience delivering against fixed, immovable deadlines such as product launches or trade shows.
  • Experience managing project scope, budget, resources, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change control.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience with milestone/gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing reporting.
  • Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
  • Experience with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects and US-LATAM nearshore teams preferred.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours, with strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, attention-to-detail, and accountability skills.
