Description

  • Manage project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, and multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain dependency registers with owners, required-by dates, and escalation paths.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks through formal risk registers and change-control processes.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone- or gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare client-facing status reports and communicate project progress to stakeholders and executives.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical clients and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Oversee complex systems and distributed engineering teams with accountability for deliverables.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience managing fixed, immovable external deadlines, critical paths, and project buffers.
  • Experience managing dependencies, risks, scope, budgets, resourcing, and timelines.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies and client deliverables.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience with milestone-based acceptance criteria and client-facing reporting.
  • Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, conflict-resolution, and communication skills.
  • Experience with complex systems, distributed engineering teams, regulatory or compliance projects, nearshore US-LATAM teams, or PMP/CSM/PSM certification preferred.
