Description

  • Manage project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain client dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Coordinate third-party vendor dependencies, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban delivery teams.
  • Define milestone and gate-based acceptance criteria and provide client-facing status reports.
  • Manage formal risk registers and change-control processes.
  • Translate technical concepts for non-technical clients and executives.
  • Identify, track, mitigate, and escalate project risks and dependencies.
  • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams working on large, complex systems.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Experience delivering against fixed, immovable deadlines such as product launches or trade shows.
  • Experience managing project scope, budget, resourcing, and timelines across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience with dependency registers, formal risk registers, and change-control processes.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendors and integrations.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience with Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours; PMP, CSM, or PSM certification and regulatory project experience preferred.
