Description

  • Manage software development projects across scope, budget, resourcing, timelines, and multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Deliver projects against fixed external deadlines using critical-path and buffer management.
  • Maintain dependency registers with required-by dates, owners, and escalation paths.
  • Manage project risks, formal risk registers, and change-control processes.
  • Coordinate third-party vendors, including contracts, credentials, and integration timelines.
  • Run Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams and manage milestone- and gate-based acceptance criteria.
  • Prepare client-facing status reports and translate technical concepts for clients and executives.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks and dependencies across complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Maintain accountability for deliverables, team commitments, quality standards, and conflict resolution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience managing software development projects.
  • Experience delivering projects against fixed, immovable external deadlines.
  • Experience managing project scope, budget, resources, timelines, dependencies, and risks.
  • Experience coordinating third-party vendor dependencies.
  • Experience running Agile/Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Experience with milestone- or gate-based acceptance criteria and client-facing reporting.
  • Experience using Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • Strong stakeholder management and technical communication skills for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with large, complex systems and distributed engineering teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; ability to overlap US business hours; PMP, CSM, or PSM certification preferred.
  • Experience with regulatory or compliance-driven projects and US-LATAM delivery teams preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict-resolution, attention-to-detail, ownership, and accountability skills.
