Description

  • Design and implement full-stack features, including backend services, data storage, and modern web frontends.
  • Build, maintain, and extend Python-based applications and APIs using frameworks like Flask or Django.
  • Develop and maintain front-end interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
  • Implement, manage, and optimize relational and keyed-data storage solutions and ORMs.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like Jenkins, Docker, and AWS.
  • Write testable, maintainable code following software engineering best practices (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams as a consultant to define requirements, deliver solutions, and provide technical guidance.
  • Participate in code reviews, design reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Work across a variety of projects and domains, adapting solutions to client needs and business contexts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as a Full-Stack Developer using open-source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python or other object-oriented languages.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development: backend services, data storage, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and deployment automation.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals: OOP, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Experience with SaaS products or corporate environments (preferred).
  • B2B financial services or asset/asset-management experience (bonus).
  • Familiarity with specific technologies: Flask, Django, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, React, Knockout.
  • Experience with developer tools and infrastructure: Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, AWS.
