Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications for client projects.
  • Implement back-end services, APIs, and data storage solutions.
  • Build and maintain modern front-end interfaces using JavaScript frameworks.
  • Participate in CI/CD processes and maintain deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, AWS).
  • Write testable, well-structured code and apply strong software engineering practices (OOP, data structures, algorithms).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Work on a variety of consulting projects, adapting to different domains and client needs.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and ensure reliability of production systems and databases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years as a Full-Stack Developer using open-source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python and/or other object-oriented languages.
  • Proficiency in full-stack development including back-end services, data storage, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals: OOP, data structures, writing testable code, and algorithms.
  • Experience with Python frameworks and libraries such as Flask, Django, and SQLAlchemy.
  • Familiarity with databases and keyed storage: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and ORMs.
  • Front-end experience with JavaScript frameworks, notably React (Knockout experience is a plus).
  • Familiarity with developer tools and infrastructure: Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, and AWS; experience in SaaS or corporate environments is a plus; B2B financial services or asset management experience is a bonus.
