Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers, and business stakeholders to design and deliver new product features and platform improvements.
  • Own projects through the full development lifecycle: project definition, development, debugging, initial release, and subsequent iterations.
  • Operate with a high degree of independence while coordinating with senior technology leaders and peers.
  • Build enterprise-level solutions with attention to scalability, supportability, and maintainability.
  • Refactor and continuously improve object-oriented code following Agile development practices.
  • Maintain and support automated continuous integration and delivery processes.
  • Work as a consultant across a variety of client projects, ensuring delivered work has direct business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or similar discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role using open source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python.
  • Comfort with full-stack development including backend service design, data storage/access models, and modern web frameworks.
  • Experience creating and maintaining fully automated CI tools such as Jenkins.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals: object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Experience in SaaS products and ability to work effectively in a corporate setting (desired).
  • B2B financial services or alternative asset management experience (plus).
  • Familiarity with technologies listed: Django, Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL/ORMs, React, Knockout, MongoDB, Redis, Git, Vagrant, Fabric, Docker, AWS, Jenkins.
