Description

  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, managers, and business stakeholders to define and implement new product features and platform improvements.
  • Drive projects from initial concept through definition, development, debugging, release, and subsequent iteration.
  • Design and build enterprise-level solutions that are scalable, supportable, and maintainable.
  • Work independently while partnering with senior technology leaders and cross-functional teams to meet project goals.
  • Maintain and improve code quality through refactoring and adherence to Agile development practices.
  • Create, maintain, and operate continuous integration pipelines and automated tooling to support reliable releases.
  • Provide consulting services to clients across a variety of projects, delivering solutions that directly impact client businesses.
  • Operate with integrity and collaborate in an open, supportive team environment to achieve shared objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or similar technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role using open-source technologies.
  • Strong experience with Python and modern web development frameworks.
  • Comfort with full-stack development, including computationally intense back-end development, service design, and data storage/access models.
  • Experience creating and maintaining fully automated continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals including object-oriented design, data structures, testable code, and algorithms.
  • Proclivity for refactoring and continuous improvement within Agile development methods.
  • Experience with SaaS products and the ability to work effectively in a corporate/client-facing setting.
  • Experience with technologies such as Django/Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, ORMs, React/Knockout, MongoDB, Redis, Git, Docker, AWS, and CI/CD tooling is preferred.
  • B2B financial services or alternative asset management experience is a plus.
