Description

  • Design and develop low-latency API services and scalable RESTful APIs in AWS.
  • Build secure multi-tenant environments and integrate external services through SDKs.
  • Design and manage PostgreSQL/AuroraDB schemas, migrations, raw SQL, and row-level security.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD applications and deployment workflows.
  • Contribute to frontend development with React when needed.
  • Implement comprehensive testing, including integration, failure-mode, and fault-injection testing.
  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Take ownership and accountability for project deliverables while following engineering best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional, backend-focused software development experience.
  • Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
  • Experience building AWS-based services, scalable RESTful APIs, and SDK integrations.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or AuroraDB, including row-level security, raw SQL, and schema migrations.
  • Experience building secure multi-tenant systems and working with large, complex applications.
  • Professional experience with React and solid full-stack development knowledge.
  • Experience with integration testing against real databases and failure-mode or fault-injection testing.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants in daily development and maintaining CI/CD systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to overlap with U.S. business hours and demonstrate strong problem-solving, attention to detail, ownership, and client focus.
  • Experience with append-only, event-sourced, or bitemporal data models preferred.
  • Experience with Fastify, schema-first validation such as Zod, AWS Fargate/ECS, or compliance-sensitive domains preferred.
