Description

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Operate containerized services with Docker and ECS/Fargate.
  • Manage Aurora/PostgreSQL production environments, including failover, replicas, and replica-lag monitoring.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation with tested rollback procedures.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, and observability using tools such as OpenTelemetry and CloudWatch.
  • Conduct load testing and operate services against latency SLOs and error budgets.
  • Apply vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance, and infrastructure-hardening practices.
  • Support SOC 2 evidence collection and client security reviews.
  • Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with clients and delivery teams while maintaining ownership of technical commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi-AZ failover and read replicas.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, containerization, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
  • Experience with observability tooling such as OpenTelemetry or CloudWatch and load testing tools such as k6.
  • Experience supporting security, compliance, SOC 2 audits, incident response, and complex systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours.
  • Strong ownership, problem-solving, attention to detail, adherence to best practices, and client focus.
  • Preferred: experience with S3 Object Lock, secure multi-tenant systems, database migrations, expand/contract schema changes, or audit-heavy domains.
