Description

  • Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Operate containerized services with Docker and ECS/Fargate.
  • Manage Aurora/PostgreSQL production environments, including failover, read replicas, and replica-lag monitoring.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and tested rollback procedures.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using tools such as OpenTelemetry and CloudWatch.
  • Conduct load testing and operate services against latency SLOs and error budgets.
  • Apply security, vulnerability management, secrets management, compliance, and infrastructure-hardening practices.
  • Support SOC 2 audits, client security reviews, incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with clients and consulting teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Strong hands-on AWS experience with ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Production experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica-lag monitoring.
  • Experience with Docker, ECS/Fargate, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with deployment automation, rollback paths, observability tooling, and load testing with k6 or similar.
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 or similar audits, client security reviews, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
  • Background working with large, complex systems and compliance-sensitive environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Ability to overlap US business hours and demonstrate strong ownership, problem-solving, attention to detail, and client focus.
  • Preferred: experience with S3 Object Lock, archival retention, secure multi-tenant systems, PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, database migrations, and expand/contract schema changes.
