Description

  • Design, provision, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Operate containerized applications with Docker and ECS/Fargate.
  • Manage production Aurora/PostgreSQL databases, including multi-AZ failover, read replicas, and replica-lag monitoring.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, tested rollback paths, and rollback drills.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, or similar tools.
  • Perform load testing and operate services against latency SLOs and error budgets.
  • Apply security, vulnerability-management, secrets-management, compliance, and infrastructure-hardening practices.
  • Support SOC 2 or similar audit evidence collection and client security reviews.
  • Participate in incident response, on-call rotations, and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with clients and delivery teams while taking ownership of project commitments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
  • Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Docker, ECS/Fargate, CI/CD, deployment automation, and rollback strategies.
  • Experience with observability tooling and load testing tools such as k6.
  • Experience with incident response, on-call support, root-cause analysis, and large complex systems.
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 or similar audits and client security reviews.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; ability to overlap US business hours required.
  • Strong ownership, accountability, problem-solving, attention to detail, best-practice adherence, and client focus.
  • Preferred: experience with S3 Object Lock, long-term archival, secure multi-tenant systems, PostgreSQL Row-Level Security, database migrations, expand/contract schema changes, or compliance-sensitive industries.
