Description

  • Identify security vulnerabilities and modernization opportunities and execute the IT Manager’s roadmap.
  • Remediate findings from penetration tests, code reviews, and automated security scans.
  • Modernize, enhance, refactor, redesign, and migrate legacy applications to current frameworks and security standards.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure web applications and services.
  • Apply secure coding practices and maintain compliance with client security requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application defects.
  • Participate in phased deployments and provide post-deployment support.
  • Collaborate with the client’s IT and cybersecurity teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of software development experience in Microsoft-based environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with C# and VB.NET.
  • Solid experience working with Visual Basic 6 (VB6) applications.
  • Experience with relational databases, ideally Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and multi-assignment management abilities.
  • Fluent English and availability to work U.S. time zone hours in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Must be based in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, or the Dominican Republic.
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications to .NET 8 or later (preferred).
  • Experience with ASP.NET, Classic ASP, PHP, Microsoft Access, AWS, web application security remediation, automated scanning tools, REST APIs, CI/CD, and Git-based source control (preferred).
