Description

  • Define and execute the DLT/Blockchain technology strategy and roadmap for BCI projects and initiatives.
  • Build, lead, manage, train, mentor, and evaluate the DLT/Blockchain technology team.
  • Research and identify suitable data sets and AI models for project use cases and objectives.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy applications and solutions using DLT/Blockchain and complementary technologies.
  • Ensure the quality, reliability, security, and scalability of technology products and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance and impact of technology solutions and recommend improvements.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including partners, sponsors, donors, and beneficiaries.
  • Generate opportunities for strategic partnerships.
  • Attend conferences and events to represent BCI and present research findings and insights.
  • Onboard and train other team members and execute proof-of-concepts and pilots.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in DLT/Blockchain or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong technical skills with proficiency in DLT/Blockchain frameworks such as Solidity/Ethereum and other relevant technologies.
  • Experience with data analysis and AI development tools such as Python, R, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn is desired.
  • Familiarity with data sources, formats, and standards such as APIs, JSON, XML, and CSV.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience leading and managing technology teams and projects, including agile methodologies, budgeting, reporting, and documentation.
  • Excellent oral, organizational, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Aptitude in Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish is desirable.
  • Portfolio of supported open-source GitHub projects is desirable.
  • Passion and knowledge of climate and sustainability issues and a willingness to learn across related domains.
